This week, thanks to the WZO Trust Funds local committee at Navsari, we had the opportunity to visit a number of Parsi villages in rural Southern Gujarat. Accompanied by Mr. Aspi B. Ambapardiwala and Ms. Sharmin S. Tamboly and aided by Mr. Dinshaw Tamboly , we saw firsthand the harsh conditions in which many families live, as well as the pioneering work being done by the WZO Trust Funds to help improve their everyday lives.
Meeting the Parsi residents and visiting their places of business including a shop, mill, chicken farm and brick-making facility, was an unforgettable experience.
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and hard work that this team at Navsari, namely: Mr. Farrokh M. Kasad, Mr. Aspi B. Ambapardiwala, Mr. Cyrus D. Vandriwala, Mr. Rohinton J. Contractor, Ms. Sharmin S. Tamboly, Ms. Simin F. Bharda and the other volunteers, are doing.
