On the evening of October 11th, SOAS hosted two events related to Zoroastrian studies.
The first consisted of a series of talks given in memory of former SOAS academic Professor John Hinnells. In their speeches, Professor Almut Hinzte and Mr. Rusi Dalal (ZTFE) spoke to the significant scholarly contributions made by Professor Hinnells to the field of the Study of Religions in general and Zoroastrianism in particular, and also shared some touching personal anecdotes.
This was followed by a reception for the launch of the exhibition “Living Zoroastrianism” which is on display at the Foyle Gallery within the Brunei Gallery, SOAS until the 15th December, 2018.
Further details regarding the exhibition can be viewed here.
